# Audit and Process Records

Historical records of the build process and audits that produced the operative DOC73 V1.6 release wave. Not part of the operative spec itself — preserved for traceability and to support pending V1.6.1 review work.

## Files in this folder

| File | What it is | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| `DOC73_V1_6_CSA_EXTRACTION_PRE_REPORT.md` | Phase 1 baseline of the 2026-05-04 CSA extraction — grep counts, per-file findings, OBL-D72-NEW-V15-01 scope investigation | Reference only — established the extraction baseline |
| `DOC73_V1_6_CSA_EXTRACTION_REPORT.md` | Phase 2-3 record of the CSA extraction — what was removed/renamed/added, verification checks, OPA flags, cross-doc impact | Reference if anyone asks "what was actually changed?" or you want to roll something back |
| `DOC73_V1_6_CSA_EXTRACTION_AUDIT.md` | Self-audit of the CSA extraction — found 5 bugs, all fixed in place, with before/after detail | Reference if anyone asks "did the extraction get it right?" |
| `DOC73_V1_6_CSA_INTEGRATION_TRACE_R0.1.md` | CSA → DOC73 absorption map (pre-extraction) with post-extraction status annotations. §1-§10 is moot post-extraction; §11 contains Q-MECH4-1 through Q-MECH4-6 questions about Mechanism 4 V1 proposal fidelity that are **STILL OPEN** | **Reference for V1.6.1 MECH4_PROPOSAL_FIDELITY_REVIEW** (see deferral inventory §1.2) |

## Why this folder exists

The CSA extraction (2026-05-04) was a substantial surgical edit pass across 6 spec files. The audit + report + pre-report + trace are the audit trail. Keeping them with the operative spec means anyone reviewing V1.6 can see exactly what happened and verify the work.

The CSA integration trace doc has dual purpose: most of it is historical record of CSA absorption (now moot), but §11 contains live Q-MECH4-* questions for the still-pending V1.6.1 review of Mechanism 4 proposal fidelity. When you eventually do that review, this is where you'll go.
